Important Rules for You and Your Child 1. Be
on time for class. Pick your children up promptly after class; it is difficult to keep track of multiple
children, especially when the instructor will be starting another class after your child’s class. 2. Always wear appropriate
clothing and shoes to class (speak to the instructor if you are unsure of what they should wear). DO NOT
WEAR JEWELRY TO CLASS. If your child is a repeat offender for not dressing appropriately they will be made
to sit out of the class.3.
For smaller children, make sure they go to the bathroom prior to class to eliminate interruptions
in their class.4. Do
not linger at the window or doorways to watch your child’s class and do not interrupt the class in progress unless it
is an emergency. This is a distraction to all of the children, since they will be more interested in who
is watching them then their instructor.5.
If a child is continuously disruptive, they will be asked to leave the class. Whether
they are able to return will be discussed between a board member, the instructor, and the parent. 6. There are TWO recitals
and it is mandatory that your child attend both. 7.
You should drop your child off 5 minutes before class starts and pick
them up no later then 5 minutes after it ends. If you are unable to be on time to pick up your child on
time, on a regular basis, your child may be asked to drop the class. IT WILL BE MANDATORY THIS YEAR FOR YOU TO SIGN YOUR CHILD OUT OF CLASS. CHILDREN WILL NOT BE
ALLOWED TO EXIT THE STUDIO TO RUN TO YOUR CAR.
